The Beauty of Adoption

We talk to Sharon Tonn, a St. Mark's parishioner, who shares her life affirming story about her crisis pregnancy at age 20, the adoption of her firstborn, Peggy, and the incredible miracle of their reunion 44 years later. In this show, Sharon describes being sent to a home for unwed mothers run by the Catholic Church, the birth and subsequent adoption of her daughter through Catholic Social Services, her lifelong longing to see her daughter again, and the wonderful reaction of her other children to the news about the reunion of Sharon and her firstborn child, Peggy.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
