Carolina Catholic talks to film maker, Raouf Zaki, about his film on the 21 martyred Coptic Christians of Libya called Son of the 11th Hour

Carolina Catholic spoke with film producer, director, and editor, Raouf Zaki, about his upcoming film, Son of the 11th Hour, inspired by the incredible faith of the 21 Coptic Christian martyrs of Libya. These Christian men were captured by ISIS and beheaded in 2015. Their last words were, "Jesus Christ, be with me." This commemorative film of the 10th anniversary of their martyrdom will be released in 2025. This past February for the first time, the Catholic Church celebrated the feast day of the 21 Coptic martyrs killed by ISIS in 2015, and last May, Pope Francis added them to the Roman Martyrology, the Catholic Church’s official list of saints..
