Name That Saint
Listen to the on-air clues given over the radio and respond via email with your answer. There are two chances to win each month. The first contest runs from the 1st through the 15th, while the second runs from the 16th through the end of month.
Rules
After hearing the on-air clues, if you believe you know the identity of the saint described in the game, submit your answer to us via email. All contestants who correctly identify the saint will have their names entered into that period’s contest. A winner’s name will be drawn at random from among all the correct entries at the end of each period and that person will win a valuable prize and a discount coupon from The St. Mary Parish Bookstore. This drawing will be held the 15th and last day of every month, so tune in early to hear our clues.
Here are the rules for playing:
- All entries must be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Please only submit one guess per email.
- You may enter as often as you like. However, each email must contain only one guess.
- For each period, the winner will receive a valuable prize or prizes selected by the bookstore staff and the winner will also receive a discount coupon for The St. Mary Parish Bookstore.
- Winners will be notified by email after the drawing. Prizes must be picked up at The St Mary Parish Bookstore during their normal business hours.
- By virtue of submitting an entry in the contest, contestants agree to the use of their name in a subsequent public service announcement, announcing the winner's name (if permission is granted) and will feature a short biography of our saint of the month. If a contestant prefers to remain anonymous (not have their name used on-air), the contestant must clearly state this preference in the email containing their answer.
- Volunteers/staff/employees of Wilmington Catholic Radio and the St. Mary Parish Bookstore are not eligible to enter the contest. Their reward in Heaven will be great!
