For our second February show, Carolina Catholic chats with Dr. John Cromer, his wife, Penny Cromer, and Millie Moore about SaludHondu, a Wilmington-based non-profit organization which provides support for ongoing medical care in central Honduras. In this area of 80 mountainous communities, SaludHondu's clinic provides 50,000 men, women and children access to the medical services, equipment, supplies, and medications that these people so direly need. Many of the people live in extreme poverty, but they live by faith and the hope of a better life. And the care given by SaludHondu’s Honduran medical staff is sustained, dependable, and available to all.
